My Salvation Story
I grew up in church, but was not saved until I turned 25. It was only after many wasted years that I saw my sin as an offense against God. It was with this realization that I repented of my sin, and put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. I know that I am eternally secure because of the authority of Jesus Christ to take upon Himself my debt of sin, and the penalty it deserves. Rom. 10:9-13. Truly, I proclaim alongside the apostle Paul, that I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes.-Rom 1:16

The simple facts is , I am a wretched sinner saved by the mercy and grace of a loving God who gave His only begotten Son for me. What a Savior!

If you want to know more about how I came to know Jesus Christ as my Savior, just give a holler. If you don't know Jesus in a personal relationship, don't wait. Acts 17:30-31 tell us that all should repent, because God will judge the world. If we are to escape the righteous judgement of God, we have to do it His way. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father but through Me" Jesus is the only way. Choose today, Heaven and peace with God, or Hell as the just payment for sin against a holy God.

About me
Short version:Married to Sara, children Nathaniel (13) Virginia (6) and Naomi (2) expecting another baby in Feb 2010. Travel full time preaching the Gospel and equipping the saints to share the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

Longer version:
We are currently working with the saints at Bluegrass Bible Fellowship in Richmond, Kentucky for the fall. This was the assembly that hosted the GNOM 4 "surge" and there is much to do here. In our time here in May and June, we saw such commitment to reach the lost with the Gospel message. It is a privilege to continue the work alongside the local saints and get to know them better.

Since the end of the surge, the local saints have been dedicated and very busy in follow up, discipleship, and many other necessary items after such an immense Gospel outreach. We are working with the elders and saints here to work out a sustainable and effective Gospel work, while working on means of discipleship for those who have a desire to learn more, or new believers.

We are all quite busy, but would encourage folks wishing to learn more about the work here in Richmond to feel free to call or drop an email, maybe just stop in if you are happening by.

Lord willing, our family plans to go back to Maine mid January for the birth of our baby. After that, we are prayerfully considering our future plans either for a period in Maine, back to Kentucky, or anywhere the Lord leads and opens doors. Thank you for your prayer support.
General Ministry Description

Our family was commended to the work of evangelism by our home meeting in Union, Maine, in 2008. The focus of our ministry, however, is multi-faceted. We live in a camper and travel as the Lord leads to work with meetings all over the USA.

The Lord, first and foremost, has burdened our hearts with the urgency of preaching the gospel in this country. The second focus of our ministry is to build up the body of Christ by equipping the saints for the work of evangelism. It is clear from 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 that the ministry of reconciliation has been entrusted to every believer, as each has been made an ambassador for Christ. Through teaching and training, exhortation and example, it is our desire to work to help energize and equip Christians for proclaiming the gospel to a lost and perishing world.

Gospel work is our first priority, but we know that door to door and open air preaching is only part of the work that needs to be done. We also feel burdened to do follow up with those reached with the Gospel message, to work in children's ministry, and to work as needed in the areas of discipleship and family ministry. Our family has been blessed to be able to be used, even in our weakness in the flesh, to encourage believers. It is such a blessing to know that even hard times and trials can be used for God's glory.

We have six children, two of which have gone home to be with the Lord, and one that is still growing in the womb. We plan to meet our new baby in February 2010, Lord willing. Enduring trials in our lives has served to remind us constantly of God's grace and mercy, of His strength to cope with any struggle this life on earth may offer.

We pray that as we continue to serve, that the Lord Jesus Christ will have pre-eminence in all things, and that His glory is revealed as His servants humbly serve their Savior. He is worthy of our praise, and it is our pleasure to serve in whatever way God sees fit.

In 2009, we have had the privilege to labor alongside believers in Maine, New Hampshire, Ohio, Kentucky, Texas, and California. We look forward to continuing work with some of these meetings, and to see what God has in store for His ministry in the future. We appreciate your prayers as we seek God's will in all things
